T-Mobile customers with two lines will receive third one for free

Amid intensifying competition among telecommunication giants, T-Mobile has announced that new and existing users of its certain plans with two lines will receive a third line for free.

T-Mobile has announced that its customers will be able to get three lines for $100 on a One, Simple Choice or Simple Choice No Credit plan without paying any additional price. Those who already have three or more lines can snag another line for free.

The company has not announced any end date for the promo, but customers who receive a third line it now will be able to keep it fro free for as long as they are on an eligible plan.

As we saw in the past, the T-Mobile promo will encourage other carriers like Verizon to announce similar plans.

A few weeks ago, T-Mobile announced its decision of adding HD video streaming as well as 10GB of LTE hotspot tethering to its unlimited “One” plan, in response to rival Verizon’s new unlimited data plan. Just a few hours after T-Mobile’s announcement, AT&T also add 10GB of tethering data to its unlimited plan, thanks to the super competitive market that will clearly stand to benefit customers.
