It seems that the running crisis in Libya has affected South Sudan considerably, as these nations along with Eritrea have witnessed a fall in the level of violence.

The trio has total population of 6 million, out of which 3, 00,000 people are armed and are popular for spreading violence. On the other hand are the nations which reside in peace like Ethiopia, Rwanda, Uganda, Kenya and also the US. Earlier, the violence oriented nations were dominant over the peaceful nations, which created an atmosphere of cold war among the two.

Recently, the liberation of South Sudan and the downfall of the rule of Muammar Gaddafi in Libya resulted in lowering the strength of the violence based nations and reduced the level of disturbance in the Horn of Africa.

South Sudan has made up its mind to align with East Africa and join the East Africa Community. The move has resulted in running down Khartoum and 33% of the region with fuel and gas resources. Egypt has managed to secure the safest place in this scenario of extreme confusion and hatred.

The nation has agreed to support South Sudan and carry out the division project on river Nile, the water sharing agreement is a way of building strong relation with the other regions.
