By offering cheap and efficient transportation, Kia's Picanto by now was a well-known name in the car market. Recently, a new feather was added to their hat, as a new model of the Kia Picanto was launched.

About the new model, Korean producers quoted that as compared to the previous model which was cute, the car has now been developed into a mature and handsome model and it would be offering five-year warranty for
100,000 kms.

The modified versions would be motorized by a new 1-litre, three-cylinder DOHC motor with nonstop variable valve timing and it would also be proposing upright outputs for its size with 51kW available at 6200rpm and 94Nm at
3500rpm.

The most interesting part of the whole story lies in the fact that, the new model would be offered at the same price level of R99,995.

With a wheelbase extended by 15mm, the new Picanto had been become 60mm long and the passenger and baggage space has increased to 27 %.

The baby Kia has also modified the bonnet as now it would be offering the same two petrol engine choices as its Hyundai i10 sibling and a larger 1.2-litre unit is also included.

Meanwhile, Fiat had also relocated its Panda hatchback and with a price tag of R99,900, the Young version would be entering the car market.
