Survivors of Breast Cancer Support Each Other in the Race

Donna Rupp, a breast cancer survivor, is encouraged by the charitable three-mile race, where she was supported by other women in order to finish the race. Mrs. Rupp was joined by other breast cancer survived women, as without these women Mrs. Rupp would not have been able to finish the race.

The spirit and support had motivated Mrs. Rupp and she is looking forward to guide the upcoming breast cancer survivors and train them for the race. The Executive Director of the Northeast Pennsylvania affiliate of Susan G. Komen for the Cure, Dolly Woody, revealed that the aim to organize such races was to motivate the women survived from breast cancer to stay healthy.

Ms. Woody further appreciated the support system carried out by women during the race. Thousands participated in Saturday's Susan G. Komen Vermont-New Hampshire Race for the Cure by running, walking, or power-walking their way toward a cure for breast cancer.

Governor Peter Shumlin appreciated the participants and fired the starting pistol for the morning's runners. "We all have family, friends, neighbors who struggle or have won or lost a fight with cancer. And we know this Race for the Cure is one of the most important things you can do to make Vermont a healthier and better place”, said Mr. Peter.
