Yahoo has been struggling very hard to stay afloat in the social media market. With the latest controversies regarding its CEO, there was a need for some drastic measures to turn the image of the company. The competition has also been very stiff, with Google, Facebook and Twitter taking all the limelight.
Yahoo has now come up with a brand new visually enhanced browser for iOS, Axis. It seems to be a desperate move by the company to stay up to date with the competition. Although many are impressed by the company’s iOS app while others urge users to be wary of the desktop plug-in.
The twittersphere has been going on about this latest offering from Yahoo. While Mashable and Cnet were pretty impressed by it, people like All Things D Co-Executive editor Kara Swisher said that this might mean that people would use Yahoo search again.
