No Internet Connections for Oil Ministry

It has been recently revealed in a report that in wake of making the firewall methods safer for the Oil ministry in Iran, the computer technicals have now resorted to extreme measures. They have cut off the internet connections of the ministry for the time being. There was dire need for efforts to be made to prevent the major documents and vital information from getting stolen by unscrupulous sources.

The virus had penetrated their system files and they were at a risk of losing a lot of vital information in the process. To slash the same, there has now been this step taken.

"This virus penetrated some fields. One of them was the oil sector. Fortunately, we detected and controlled this single incident", said Gholam Reza Jalali, who heads an Iranian military unit in charge of fighting sabotage.

It remain to be seen what further steps are going to be taken by the authorities to make things work for the benefit of the people in the time to come. There is need for the loopholes of the security system are removed in time, so that such a situation doesn't arise in the future.
