An alert has been issued for the computer users by the authorities of the US. It has been reported that on Monday a super bug or virus would damage millions of computer leaving the computer users with no access to internet.

The US authorities have said that the risk associated with virus has been hyped by some media persons. According to them, only a few computer users would be affected by the virus. The experts have informed that the virus is less dangerous as compared to Zeus and SpyEye viruses, which are used for tricking someone’s financial activities.

It has been informed that about 2, 45,000 computers were affected with Alureon virus last week. Out of 2, 45,000 computers about 45,355 computers are from the US. According to the FBI, the virus has been design to affect the internet traffic.

An investigation over the spread of virus was launched by the authorities of the US. About six people have been arrested for having a connection with the spread of the virus. On the 9th of July, the computers all over the world might shut down temporarily. However, these problems would be solved swiftly with the help of internet service providers.
