Viewing More TV Is Unhealthy for Children

As per a study, which has been published in the International Journal of Behavioral Nutrition and Physical Activity, it has been revealed that children aged between two and four, are at greater risking of getting obese at the age of
10, if they watch more television during the mentioned years.

It is not the first time when it has been said that children should not watch television for more than two hours and now yet another study has unveiled the same. It seems that parents have got a new way to put curb on their children’s television viewing habit.

The study was being taken out by a group of researchers from the University of Montreal. They assessed 1,314 children and found that 15% of them have already started viewing more 18 hours of television in a week.

Lead researcher Dr. Linda Pagani said that additional one hour of watching television per week will increase inches in the waistline of children. Therefore, it will be best to put in simple words that extra watching of television is not at all good for children.

It will be best that children should be asked to spend their free time while playing out door games, which are healthier.
