The website has been named as Facebook Stories, which will act as a scrap book for people, where they can share experiences of their life. To add the touch of freshness in stories, the organizers have decided that they will be entertaining different themes every months. This will let people to read different stories every time.
In order to initiate the new website, the stories have been woven around ‘remembrance’. This idea will feature the story of a person named as Mayank Sharma, who lost his memory and in order to gain back the people he has lost, he used Facebook.
"Studies show that travel stimulates the mind and creates memories, and sharing those experiences through social networks only strengthens relationships with friends and loved ones”, said Roger Dow, who is the head of U. S. Travel Association.
It is the second time when any such action is going to take place by Facebook, as in 2010 also they launched something similar to it. Due to certain circumstances, they closed the application in 2011.
