It has been reported that the mobile giant, Apple is planning to do away with Google map and to build its own map application. It has further come to light that Google’s You Tube app is also being refused by the giant.

Apples spokesperson was reported saying, “Our license to include the YouTube app in iOS has ended, customers can use YouTube in the Safari browser and Google is working on a new YouTube app to be on the App Store”.

Speculators have been speculating over the sudden shift in the relationship shared by the duo. Writer of technology website, Nathan Ingraham said that Apple might be tired of paying Google’s license fee to get the application.

However, there are few others who believe that the shift might have occurred because of Apple’s plan to boost its stores by producing application. On June, 2012, Apple was heard providing details of its new maps app.

Google maps have been on the screen of Apple’s phone since 2007. The move or the shift in the relationship of the two has definitely attracted the world. The world in fact is waiting to see the new applications of Apple substituting Google maps and You Tube.
