Women: Good to Distinguish colours, Men: Better Focus on Rapidly Moving Objects,

Though it is quite argumentative till now, few scientists from New York have claimed that men have a poor ability of distinguishing among colors. In comparison, women have a better hand over different color palates.

At the same time, women are unable to focus on fast moving objects, whereas men are just perfect doing the same. And therefore they are known as better computer games hacker also!

But what exactly could be the reason behind such a difference among men and women? Is it their nervous system or something else? According to scientists, both the sexes see differently, they have a unique observation level.

After testing the sight of staff and students, all above the age of 16, Professor Israel Abramov and colleagues at the City University of New York finally got to know that for men it is difficult to distinguish between colors that lie in the center of the visual spectrum, for example shades of greeny-blues. They wrote: “Across most of the visible spectrum males require a slightly longer wavelength than do females in order to experience the same hue”. But then men are always better in marking even those fine details and rapidly moving objects

Professor of cognition, Abramov wrote in the journal Biology of Sex Differences, it might be the difference in testosterone levels that is responsible for such differences in men and women.
